Drink:

Served blind at the Southwold 2009 tasting. The Pensees de Lafleur '09 is broody but well defined on the nose with lovely earthy scents, Provencal herbs coming through with hints of truffle. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, slight dry tannins but this is counterbalanced by some lovely ripe dark berry fruit and fine delineation on the finish. Excellent. Tasted January 2013.
